Look the babies haetlh is what you need to be thinking about and not your weight. Do not get in the midset of trying not to gain weight and then purposely cutting down on calories you may need to substain the growth of the baby.If you eat normally and don’t go too overboard you will be fine.Stay away from too many sweets, sodas, coffee, etc. Things you know aren’t that great for you. The empty calories.Eat lots of fresh fruits, veggies, lean meats, carbs, and get in good Folic acid- this is the most important mineral for the baby.I didn’t eat enough and I had a preemie that weighed a little over 4 pounds- a lot more than they thought, but I was so darn sick thru my entire pregnancy. I was fortunate that she came out haetlhy, but just small. Some people aren’t that lucky. My heath suffered too because she took everything from me regardless of me putting it into my body so I became anemic.Just eat, be happy and enjoy your pregnancy and stop obsessing about the weight. Your OB will tell you if you are on mark for gaining the right weight and if not she will let you know what to do. Congrats!!
